Come learn all about the fascinating flax plant and lend a hand with the harvest! Experience the journey from plant to fiber as we:
Harvest flax
Hand-process flax into fiber for spinning
Learn traditional fiber preparation techniques
Try spinning flax into beautiful linen yarn
Experiment with dyes made from natural materials
This hands-on experience is a great opportunity to discover how one of the world’s oldest textile fibers is transformed from field to fabric.
Whether you’re interested in farming, fiber arts, history, or simply trying something new, there’s something for everyone to enjoy!
