UW–Madison CALS and Oneida County 4-H invite youth entering grades 4–12 to two free Discovery Days:
Potato Science Discovery Day
Rhinelander Agricultural Research Station
📅 Friday, June 12 | ⏰ 1–4 p.m.
Enjoy a hands-on afternoon featuring the Wisconsin Spudmobile, interactive exhibits, plant-breeding activities, and a guided wagon tour of research plots. Snacks provided. Parent/guardian required.
Wildlife, Woods & Water Exploration Day
Kemp Natural Resources Station, Woodruff
📅 Saturday, June 13 | ⏰ 9 a.m.–3:30 p.m.
Explore forests, wildlife, and aquatic ecosystems through expert-led, hands-on stations (wildlife ecology, insects, and freshwater species). Lunch provided. Parent/guardian required.
Both events are free, outdoors, and open to all youth (4-H members and non-members). Space is limited—registration required.
