First Annual “Raise Your Voice for Mental Health!” walk
In 2021 the 1st annual “Raise Your Voice for Mental Health!” walk was held on Sunday, May 2, 2021. The club would like to thank the 240 individuals who participated in the walk along with the numerous individuals, businesses and organizations that donated items for the silent auction, advertising, monetary donations and/or items for the participant bags. Due to the tremendous support of the community, the walk raised $6,200. Half of the funds raised were donated to NAMI Northwoods. The remaining half will be used to fund improvements at Tyler’s Playground, a play area along the River Bend Trail dedicated to Tyler Holbach that the Raise Your Voice Club will begin in fall. Both organizations support the RYV club mission and work to make change.
