Youth Mental Health First Aid Training Offered in Lincoln County

Healthy Minds for Lincoln County will be offering FREE Youth Mental Health First Aid this month.

February 26 and 28, 5:00 – 9:00 pm

Instructor: Allie Libby, LPSC, Merrill High School Counselor

* This is a two-day class. Participants should plan on attending both days.

Youth Mental Health First Aid is an evidence-based program that teaches individuals how to help adolescents who are experiencing a mental health or substance use issue, or in crisis. Youth Mental Health First Aid participants will gain knowledge of common youth mental health challenges and learn strategies to help young people in both crisis and non-crisis situations.

The training is free and open to individuals that live or work in Lincoln County. Space is limited to 30 participants. Must be 18 years old to participate. Dinner will be provided.
